ABSTRACT

An extensive survey of benthic brown algae was carried out in Oeyondo Islands on the Yellow Sea of Korea from 1992 to 1994. A list of 20 genera and 27 species was compiled. Detailed illustrations as well as descriptions and keys were given for most of the taxa.
