There was an error in the new combination of Carolibrandtia antarctica; figs 2–6 from Fritsch (1912) were mistakenly cited as the holotype, accompanied by some inaccuracies in the literature citations. The corrections were published in Notulae Algarum as follows:

Kim, J. H., Chae, H. & Choi, H.-G. 2024. Carolibrandtia antarctica (Fritsch) H.Chae, H.-G.Choi & Ji Hee Kim, comb. nov. (Chlorellaceae, Trebouxiophyceae). Notulae Algarum 317; https://www.notulaealgarum.com/2024/documents/Notulae%20Algarum%20No.%20317.pdf.
